To offer the best protection available against ALL danger and threat out of the net, presented at one single low priced device, thats our goal. HOSECCO - Holistic Security Concept (nowadays also called UTM for unified threat management), thats how we call the realization of that goal. A concept to protect against the WHOLE potential of threats and annoyance. We decided only for the best components available to be applied on DEFENDO. Dynamically, means automatically reacting and interacting security modules take care for incomming and outgoing traffic. I. e. if the intrusion detection module detects some kind of malicious ware it reports the attack to the dynamic firewall in order to force it to block the attackers IP address for a certain time, dependent on the intensity of the attack. As a result an email will be sent to the administrator reporting the details of the action of defense. Since all components are syncronized with each other, there is no need for the administrator to intervene manually.
